While Kayden Gray was once seduced by a vampire’s lies, she continues the hunt to eliminate the demons. Bitten but not fully turned, she’s a half-breed. Caught between two worlds, Kayden is seen as an abomination to be destroyed. Her sire, Jullian, insists she belongs to him. Her only hope for freedom is he’s final death.

Being saddled with a partner, Micah MacKenzie, is the last thing Kayden wanted. While he may be decent back-up, and a treat on the eyes, she finds him completely infuriating.

On a routine hunt, Kayden and Micah stumble upon something more than their usual target, and find themselves battling a succubus that has set her sights on Micah. This brand of demon has one thing on her mind, and she’s powerful enough to get what she wants. Forcing Micah and Kayden to act on the lust and deeper feelings they’ve repressed may kill them unless their families can find a way to stop her in time.

Bending to Break is an erotic paranormal romance that starts out in high gear and continues the fast pace throughout the story. Kayden and Micah love to argue and hate to admit they’re wrong, but with a succubus using her lust filled powers there will be no more denying the way they feel. Ms. Hampton pens a story of supernatural seduction, dark passion and the joys of newfound love. Readers looking for a steamy paranormal tale where the storyline is enticing and the characters are given the green light to explore their lust filled urges, you need look no further than Bending to Break.

Great review, Kimberly!

Bending to Break does sound good but lately I want to read something light and funny, and stay away from the dark stuff which is why I just started reading Too Wilde To Tame which is a contemporary romance. :)

Thanks Wendy! I know, sometimes you just need something different. When you're ready for a very steamy paranormal you can check this one out. :)

Definitely. I went through a phrase where all I wanted to read were light and funny romances, another all Urban Fantasy with no hint of romance, etc. It's fun! :)

Nice review. I'm not the biggest fan of erotic stories because I've found many of them to short change the storyline in favor of added sex. How does this book do?

Wendy - I've definitely gone through phases with other genres/subgenres, but paranormal romance has always remained a constant interest for me. (though I do make sure I sneak in something light and funny as well)

SCooper - Thanks! I know erotic romance isn't at the top of your list of favs. *grin* In Bending to Break the storyline is not lost to the sex because being influenced by the succubus is a large part of the storyline to begin with. So there is a LOT of sex, most of which is encouraged by the succubus. :)

I'm extremely picky when it comes to book but specially erotic stories - I don't want to read that's all about sex and there's no plot!

Great review! I love how you list all the books in your pile now. It's always interesting to get a peek at what you're gonna read next. I can't stick to any kind of order though. I pick according to my moods which I want to read. :)

Wendy - There's definitely a romance here, and there's the beginnings of more romance in the secondary characters. :)

Rachael - Thanks! Not everything is listed in there because I have some really early. *grin* They aren't in order either, I should probably fix that some time too. :)

Rachael - I just put them in better order, so that should be close to the current schedule until others come in.
