I assume that, based on your comments in the review, this is not a standalone book? It looked like something I might want to try but I'm daunted by starting from the beginning, since this is #5.

To answer your question...Otherworld/Sisters of the Moon should really be read from the beginning or you just won't really know who everyone is. :)
