Claire Morgan is a school teacher with a meek personality when she ventures into the bad part of town to visit a student. She’s been tutoring Lenny for the SAT and he hasn’t been around for a few days. Knowing his situation at home isn’t good, Claire is hoping to get him back to school in time for the test. While she finds her student, she also finds a large dog that’s beyond reasoning and Claire is attacked. That’s when the changes begin.

Gideon March hunts lycans, but he has broken every rule when it comes to Claire. He knows that his job requires her destruction, but he’s sure that if they can locate the alpha before Claire makes a kill then she can be saved. His boss, Cooper, doesn’t agree. Now they’re in a race against the moon to eliminate the alpha they have yet to identify. If they don’t locate him in time, then Claire’s life is forfeit. Gideon hasn’t thrown away everything he’s worked for just to lose the woman he’s falling for in the end.

Marked by Moonlight is the first book in The Moon Chasers Series. When Claire’s life is changed by the bite of a lycan, she’s more than happy to embrace the woman who emerges. Gideon plans to stop the wolf within Claire before it ever gets a chance to be free. Ms. Kohler delivers a gripping tale filled with memorable characters, strong chemistry and steamy passion. Gideon and Claire will keep readers riveted and looking forward to the next exciting Moon Chasers adventure.

I've never heard of this author or series. I'm gonna check it out. Thanks for the heads up.

Have you read Sophie Jordan? That's the pen name for her historical romances. :) Glad I could help add to your wish list.

Sounds great! AHH I'm still reading Midnight Awakening and you're already done with this one! LOL I'm so slow.. :(

No stressing or you won't enjoy those great reads. You aren't slow! Next month you'll start with a clean slate and request less books so you can enjoy each one and not be thinking about getting the next one done. (I'm talking from experience...start the New Year with less, and build up to more) :)

Hey, everyone!
Kimberly, thanks for the review! MARKED BY MOONLIGHT releases in one month and I'm biting my nails!! Like Kimberly said, I also write historicals, but this is my paranormal debut so it's like I'm heading out the door on my first date all over again. ;)

Scooper and Rachel, I hope you'll pick up a copy in the mad Christmas rush. Rachel, I just started MIDNIGHT AWAKENING, too. Lara is a pal of mine. I love her books.

Best,
Sharie

I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek at this one, and let me tell you it is terrific. Werewolves have never been so sexy! If you like Kresley Cole or Karen Marie Moning, you'll love Sharie Kohler's new series.

Hugs,
TLC

TLC (what great initials) - Sexy hunters too! :)

*I had to take a peek at "Oh. My. Gods." Definitely sounds like a great YA to watch for this coming year!

Thanks so much for checking out OH. MY. GODS. Kimberly! I'm trying not to count down the days to the release, but, um... it's 161 days away. It's not a "darque" paranormal, but maybe you'll be ready for a light reprieve. =)

Hugs,
TLC

PS--I'll add thanks on my dad's behalf about my initials.

I'm sure that's a bit like torture for you, but how wonderful that you have those days to count down! Congratulations! :) You can count on me being more than happy to read it, and a lot of the bloggers who visit DR love YA reads. I'll go add your link to the 'authors to visit' so you can have a few more eager readers watching for its release. :)

Aw, I feel like an honorary "darque" author. And you're right, counting down to release day is definitely a torture worth enduring.

Hugs,
TLC

I like the sound of this one too. Looks like I have 2 more books to add to my wishlist, and I'm going Christmas shopping tomorrow, so I'll probably be in a bookstore.

A nice way to Christmas shop...with a few reading goodies for yourself. :)
